Wooden worktop cleaning

The kitchen and utility worktops need frequent cleaning and occasional oiling.

Cleaning

The wooden worktop should be cleaned regularly with the same “Osmo Wash and Care” as used on the wooden floor.

Spray, and wipe with the green/white hand pad.

Oiling

The wooden worktop should be oiled occasionally to maintain water resistance.

Pay special attention to the vulnerable area around the sink.

Pay extra special attention to the very vulnerable area behind the tap.

The oil is quite gunky. I applied it with an old cloth, which I then threw away as I had no way to clean it.
